Finally a place in Northern Kentucky that has excellent burgers such as Mexicali burgers melt your face burger lamb burger and bourbon bacon among many others. Great drinks my drink of choice was peach margarita.
Our group all got burgers with sides of onion rings French fries or coleslaw. I decided on a bru burger with tallegio cheese bacon and tomato jam with carmelized onions. Enough said.
I will return to try others things like chicken salad with cranberries or hot chicken. -

We tried this place for the first time last night - it was OK but nothing special. My group tried a few things so we could get a good feel for the place. We tried the basic Beginning Burger, because in my opinion you judge a burger place first on the basics, not on the fancy stuff. It was OK - there was nothing wrong with it but I've definitely had better. I think this may be the mark of a place where the draw is in the unique burgers you can get, not on the quality of the burger itself.
The Cobb salad was fine but they were really sparse with the toppings - it was mostly just lettuce and a hard boiled egg. Oh and LOTS of onion, even though we ordered it without onion.
By far the best thing we tried was the Memphis BBQ melt - I would definitely order this again. The onion rings were also very good. The fries were downright awful - soggy, lukewarm, and they seemed to be unsalted.
Service was prompt and friendly. It was a little after 6 on a Saturday and the place was practically empty - not sure if that's normal or not.
Overall, other than the fries, everything was good enough but not great. I will definitely give this place another try, especially to try one of the fancier burgers. -

UPDATE: We finally went back for a re-try, and were very happy. Brooke, the manager, was not in, but the staff was awesome (2 hostesses, one new, both great) and at least 2 other staff checked on us before our server, Shelby got to our table. Shelby was SO great, excellent service and just the right amount of attention. Our food (Stilton Bleu Burger, Lamb Burger, Bru fries) was very good. I could picture myself coming after work just to grab a beer and those Bru fries. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.
Me on phone: Hey! Just checking to see if we need reservations tonight?"
Staff: No, we really aren't busy.
Me: Cool, see you in a few.
(10 minutes later) Hey, table for 2?
Him: Oh that's going to be a 10-15 minute wait.
Me:. Oh. Okay, no prob.
Us, waiting for 20 minutes, watching lots of other people get seated...did all these people have reservations? Hmmmm.
"Excuse me, when will our table be ready?"
Her, throwing him under the bus. "Oh, he spelled your name wrong, I'll get you a table right away." (Wha???) Whatevs.
Us, at table: We would like a cheese board for an appetizer and a burger, medium, with onion rings. Can we get those onion rings extra crispy?
Sure!
Thanks!
Waiting...waiting....
Food comes out all at once. (Sigh.) Okay, whatever.
Cheese board. Not too bad.
Burger: definitely over cooked. No pink at all, probably closer to well done. {shudder} Onion rings. Meh. def not extra crispy.
Server was okay, but our drinks never got refilled.
Overall...me
UPDATE: The owner, Brooke C, reached out to me, and I'm a sucker for someone who seems great! Brooke sounds like she is really on top of things. I was impressed, and will try Bru again just because of her. I'm a softie at heart and really do want people to succeed. And also want a good medium burger. Which seems possible now. Updated to 3 stars from 2....and will update again after we review. -

This review is solely about the food. The restaurant itself and the staff are amazing. The food though is another story. I ordered a medium well burger and got a well done frisbee disc of beef that had no seasoning. Over cooked for sure. Definitely a frozen patty as well. I would take Five Guys over this any day of the week. At least their patties are made of fresh never frozen beef. Hell even Wendy's has a better burger. At least the fries were good. Onion rings were burnt to a crisp.
Overall this place isn't the worst but it's so far from the best or even being good that I will never come back unless I'm in the mood for fries and a beer. -

Came in a little after 1pm on Friday for lunch had to sit at the bar. It's a little noisy to be honest.
ordered the bourbon burger and fries. Both were very good and cooked as ordered. Companion had a salad with kenwa and grilled portobello mushroom. I sampled it and it was very good.
We both had tea to drink.
I would have given it 5 stars except for the gurl waiting on us at the bar. Didn't really feel like she paid much attention to us or checked back on us. Never was offered a refill on my drink had to ask to order had to ask for my check. The receipt was not itemized so not exactly sure of the price of each item.
I'll visit again but will make sure some else waits on us.
